The paper, owned by the MediaExpress, is best known for publications about political scandals. Before the 1993 and 1995 elections in Poland Super Express published pre-election polls, although theres a 24 hour time period without media information about politics. Super Express published also photos of Polish Television (TVP) war-correspondent Waldemar Milewiczs body after he was killed by the Iraqi insurgents.

Jego pierwszy zespół dziennikarski stanowiła w przeważającej większości dotychczasowa obsada "Expressu Wieczornego". Format tabloidowy. Zasłynął publikacjami dotyczącymi afer politycznych i obyczajowych. Przed wyborami w 1993 i 1995 roku złamał obowiązującą media ciszę przedwyborczą, publikując wyniki sondaży przedwyborczych. Głośnym echem odbiło się również opublikowanie przez dziennik zdjęć ciała zastrzelonego w Iraku korespondenta TVP, Waldemara Milewicza oraz fotomontażu przedstawiającego trenera Leo Beenhakkera z odciętymi głowami trenera Niemiec Joachima Löwa i piłkarza Michaela Ballacka.
